Introduction
Salyfer Compress is software published by BeTechInfo that compresses and optimizes different types of files on the user’s device. This policy explains how Salyfer Compress accesses the data needed to operate and how that data is handled.
It applies exclusively to use of the version of Salyfer Compress distributed through the Microsoft Store and does not replace the BeTechInfo website privacy policy.

2. Access to files and folders
Salyfer Compress may access files, documents and folders selected by the user on their device in order to provide its compression and optimization features.
This access is used to read the source file, analyze the information needed for processing, perform the requested operation, create the resulting file and save it at the location chosen by the user.
3. Local file processing
Selected files are processed locally on the user’s device by the version of Salyfer Compress distributed through the Microsoft Store.
The content of selected files is not sent, uploaded or stored on BeTechInfo servers as part of compression operations.
4. Personal data contained in files
Files selected by the user may contain personal data. Salyfer Compress may technically access this information while processing a file, but does not use it for purposes other than carrying out the requested operation.
5. File retention
Original files remain under the user’s control. Generated files are saved locally at the location chosen or provided by the application. BeTechInfo does not retain a remote copy of processed files.
Files, their locations and their retention period depend on the user’s choices and operating system. The user can move or delete them directly from the operating system.
6. Sharing with third parties
BeTechInfo does not sell, rent or disclose the content of files processed by Salyfer Compress to third parties.
7. User control
- Chooses the files and folders to process.
- Chooses or controls the folders used for results.
- Keeps the original files.
- Keeps the generated files locally.
- Can move or delete these files from the operating system.
8. Security
Local processing limits exposure of file content because it is not sent to BeTechInfo servers for compression operations. The user remains responsible for securing their device, accounts and file locations.
9. Technical data and Microsoft Store license
The version distributed through the Microsoft Store uses Microsoft Store services to check the license status required to use the software. This check is separate from file processing and does not send file content to BeTechInfo.
10. User rights
When BeTechInfo processes personal data, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and, where applicable, portability. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis for processing.
